Olmec Linux™ is a managed Linux distribution for embedded systems. Unlike most embedded Linux products which consists of a source distribution which the customers is expected to configure and build, Olmec Linux is a binary distribution (of course you still get the source) which is configured for your platform. Olmec Linux Evaluation Subscription is available free of charge for select platforms.
Olmec Software Subscription
Access to the full Olmec Linux distribution and the Olmec Development tools for Olmec Linux are only available to customers that have an active Software Subscription. Note that a no-cost Subscription is available for non-commercial uses.
Olmec Development Support
General Development Support is available for Olmec Linux.
Olmec Build System™ Subscription
Olmec Linux is maintained using the Olmec Build System. This set of tools, and the associated process can be helpful to companies that have non-trivial applications or configurations. As an add-on to the Support Subscription, a customer may elect to have an instance of the Olmec Build System installed on-site for their own use. The Olmec Build System can be used to automate the build of the customers applications and custom configurations.
